Can't wait until we can get big girl glasses next year!
Another day at the office...
Freaking kills me.
Doesn't he look like he is about to pee right on him?
The cast is off!
Puppy Dogs and Rainbows Friday: I do these posts mainly for me, to remind me on days that aren't so good, that my life is good, overall. I hope you also enjoy them. I invite you to do the same. Link up if you want (I really don't understand how that works) or comment to let me know what has made your life shiny this week. As moms (and you awesome dads that read this), we seldom have the time to see the sparkles in our fog of dirty diapers, whining toddlers and constant need by others. Moral: be sure to stop and smell the unicorns every once in a while.
Yay for the cast being off! And it totally looks like he is going to pee right on him. I keep voting for you!
ReplyDeleteTHANKS!
DeleteI'm a new reader, so I'm not sure what the cast was for...but I'm happy for you that it's off! My son had one on when he was 4 and though it didn't slow him down it was the grossest thing ever. And the smell when that sucker came off! Ewwwww!
ReplyDeleteluckily we only had it for three weeks but the sink baths left him with a constant smell of fish sticks...
DeleteIt's been a hard week, so it's really difficult to pinpoint the shinies. However... I will say that I'm getting my life back to how I want it (in terms of myself, lord only knows how shit goes with my husband) and that feels nice, especially doing what I want generally when I want to, baby's schedule taken into consideration. And, as always, watching my girl grow up so big and good gawd, the giggles. I love, love, LOVE the giggles. =)
ReplyDeleteGlad you are getting back to normal. That is very hard to do with a baby!
DeleteJust voted and read your featured posts. Both awesome.
ReplyDeleteWow. Things really got interesting in the comments on "How to Identify a Fellow Mommy" post. Cray-Cray. (I just wrote cray-cray because I read somewhere that it's one of the most annoying things people say. I've never before used it, but I kind of like it.)

Yeah, that post really pisses people off for some reason. Whatevs (is that the second most annoying?)
DeleteOne of the best weeks, love it!
ReplyDeleteLove your idea of puppy dogs and rainbow Friday posts. I too could use the weekly time to remind myself that life really is good under the craziness of having two toddlers. Would you mind if I start a similar feature on my new blog? I would of course give credit back to you for the idea and I am sure my few readers would love to subscribe to your blog.
