Puppy Dogs and Rainbows Friday: I do these posts mainly for me, to remind me on days that aren't so good, that my life is good, overall. I hope you also enjoy them. I invite you to do the same. Link up if you want (I really don't understand how that works) or comment to let me know what has made your life shiny this week. As moms (and you awesome dads that read this), we seldom have the time to see the sparkles in our fog of dirty diapers, whining toddlers and constant need by others. Moral: be sure to stop and smell the unicorns every once in a while.
We have that exact same play house. It was one of those things where every time we went into the toy store, the boys played in the display model FOREVER, so I thought, hey what a good group gift idea for their birthdays in July. So they got it two or three years ago and have played in it about 10 times.
ReplyDeleteYEP! Same here. Bastards.
DeleteWoot, woot for FREE hot sauce!
ReplyDelete"She thought she was a scarecrow." Awww, sweet thang!

Yay golden tickets!
DeleteHi! I just discovered your blog and love it. :-) Babies and beer are two of my very favorite things in all of the world, so it makes sense that I should be hanging out here!
ReplyDeleteLet's see, puppy dogs and rainbows for the week... my two month old's incredible, heart-melting grin and accompanying coo, the waterfall of adorably mispronounced words that my two year old has started spouting, wonderful fall weather (aside from a couple of days of Hurricane Sandy, but even she was a puppy dog and rainbow for me because it was exciting to experience my first hurricane, and we were far from the worst of it here in Maine), and exploring the town that we just moved to a few weeks ago. I love discovering new places and the architecture here in our New England village is magnificent. (I grew up in Idaho, so it's all new to me ^_^)
Thanks for the reminder to think positively!
Welcome, Sarah! And thanks for sharing!
