Puppy Dogs and Rainbows Friday

Things that made me shoot puppy dogs and rainbows out of my ass this week:

The Quiet Contemplator's modeling debut (and retirement)
I have finally arrived.
A night out with a friend.
A happy boy.
A happy girl.
New socks from old friends.
Getting back in the saddle...again.

Be sure to like my Facebook page by Monday at 8 a.m. If I hit 1,000 fans, I will post an unedited picture of my post-babies belly. Let me tell you, it is not pretty and will be totally worth it! Plus, I post funny shit there that I don't post here.

Puppy Dogs and Rainbows Friday: I do these posts mainly for me, to remind me on days that aren't so good, that my life is good, overall. I hope you also enjoy them. I invite you to do the same. Link up if you want (I really don't understand how that works) or comment to let me know what has made your life shiny this week. As moms (and you awesome dads that read this), we seldom have the time to see the sparkles in our fog of dirty diapers, whining toddlers and constant need by others. Moral: be sure to stop and smell the unicorns every once in a while.

    1. I am no stage mom. I spent the whole shoot saying, "if you don't want to do it, honey, we can leave right now." ha. we were just in it of the free boots.

  2. Is there any chance that she ACTUALLY GOT TO WALK AROUND WITH PENGUINS??? Somehow I have a feeling that they were photoshopped in later... but that would be SO cool. Penguins are awesome. So are rubber boots, by the way. Everything about that picture is pretty much magnificent.

I love hearing from you. It reinforces that writing this blog is not just a silly waste of my brain matter. If you leave a douche canoe comment, I will delete it. I am powerful like that.
