Just thought I would sprinkle some puppy dogs, rainbows and glitter on you Boozehounds by letting you know a few things that have made me happy this week. I would also love to hear from you guys what has made you happy this week, so comment away!
While cuddling in bed with The Quiet Contemplator one night, Kitty decided she wanted under the covers so she could snuggle, too. Kitty makes her way under the covers by forcefully butting her head into the area where the covers meet the bed, trying to burrow her way either under the sheets or to China, whichever comes first. The spot she picked for entry was right next to The Contemplator, so Kitty kept headbutting her in the side. The Quiet Contemplator looked up at me and said, "Mommy! Kitty is trying to eat me!" I die.

This is The Quiet Contemplator getting down to a band at a winery near my parents' house. The band loved her dancing so much that they gave her some maracas, then they brought her on stage. Scary thought for the future: she is only two and is already only interested in the drummer. Back off, Tommy Lee.

ReplyDeleteI had a really good week, too! First, some plants I planted back in June decided to flower again. That's a big deal, because I have a black thumb. Then, winning the makeover, thank you again! Then, PIWTPITT liked my FB page and I acted like Michael Jackson called me on the phone or something. Finally, the boy is learning how to sound out and spell simple words, which is HUGE, because he normally hates anything even remotely educational.
Oh, and next time, I wanna see video of the cat, please. :)

Getting an unexpected afternoon/evening with just husband and the youngest son. He napped for most of it while we played video games, and then he watched movies on my laptop while we played even more video games.
Playing modified tennis/racquetball/whateverthefuck-some made-up thing with Ethan.
Plus lots of other things but that's enough for now. :-)
